Surrendering Your Dog

We are a small volunteer foster care organization. This means we do not have a public shelter and our adoptable animals live with our volunteers as part of their family. Most of our adoptable animals are rescued from high-kill rural shelters through out Georgia. From time to time, we do take a limited number of animals from people who choose to surrender their pets. In Georgia under the law, animals are considered property therefore we can not accept stray animals from areas with animal control services available. If you find an animal, please contact your local animal control as well as locally advertising any found animals. We will be glad to assist you in guest listing your animal for adoption, on our web site.

Please do your part to Help Control Overpopulation!

No shelter has enough cages for all the unwanted animals in a community, but even if one did, no dog or cat should spend its life in a cage.

Letting pets run loose is no solution either. Pets on the street, face a certain and often painful death. Most die of starvation, disease, or are hit by cars.

Only by spaying and neutering and adopting pets from shelters will the pet overpopulation problem ever be resolved. Please help us to stop the euthanizing of healthy, lovable animals!

Please spay or neuter your pet today and reduce pet overpopulation.
